Introduction

Trade License is document/order issued by the Local Body for establishing their commercial or industrial activities within Town Panchayat Jurisdiction one or more for the purposes specified in schedule V of the Tamil Nadu Districts Municipalities Act, 1920 with license issued by the executive authority specified therein: authority and with conditions. (Under section 249 of Tamil Nadu District Municipality Act 1920).
